LONGCHAMP X LES DEUX MAINS DU LUXE
TO TRANSMIT, TO SHARE, TO INSPIRE
The Maison Longchamp is proud to take part in the Les Deux Mains du Luxe event, an initiative launched by the Comité Colbert.
This unique gathering highlights the excellence of French craftsmanship and the importance of passing on this savoir-faire to younger generations and to talents seeking new career paths.
In 2025, the event takes on a new dimension as it moves to the Grand Palais, from October 2nd to 5th.
An XXL edition, bringing together more than 30 leading luxury houses, will offer visitors a truly immersive experience at the heart of artisanal creation — from leather goods, couture, and watchmaking to jewelry, gastronomy, design, perfumery, and much more.
OUR COMMITMENT
At Longchamp, the art of leather and leather goods lies at the very heart of our identity. Participating in Les Deux Mains du Luxe offers us a unique opportunity to pursue several key objectives.
Above all, we aim to showcase our craftsmanship through interactive workshops and live demonstrations by our skilled leather artisans. Visitors will have the chance to observe precise techniques, such as hand-brushing leather edges, and can even don a workshop coat to try finishing the edges themselves. This hands-on experience allows them to appreciate the meticulous care and exacting standards that define this artisanal craft.
Visitors will also be able to explore the world of luxury retail and engage directly with our Longchamp advisors, discovering another essential aspect of our Maison: the art of connecting with and sharing experiences with our clients.
This event is also a unique opportunity to share the passion for our craft with young people seeking career guidance. Two days will be dedicated specifically to schools and students, allowing them to discover the richness and diversity of careers in leather goods.
In addition, we aim to encourage professional reinvention, demonstrating that it is entirely possible to enter this field without prior experience. At Longchamp, most of the people we recruit have never worked in leather goods before. What matters most to us is motivation, skill, and a desire to practice a craft that demands care and precision, where every piece created becomes a genuine source of pride.
Finally, our participation also seeks to celebrate the women and men who shape our products every day with creativity and rigor. We aim to highlight their essential role in passing on a unique savoir-faire, which is at the very heart of our Maison’s reputation.
We are excited to share this experience with you. Come and discover our artisans at work and try your hand at some of the iconic techniques of Longchamp leather craftsmanship.
